Welcome!

Find out what’s in store for our new blog and website

weighted blanket in use for mental health, sleep anxiety

Hello.

Welcome to the new blog and website for the School of Applied Mental Health!

So, what’s all the fuss about? Well, we decided it was definitely time for us to launch a blog. While we were at it, we thought a shiny new website was in order too. We would love to hear your feedback on it, so please do let us know what you think.

Why were we so keen for a blog? Our courses are obviously a great way to learn but we also wanted a place where professionals could find free mental health resources, news and trusted information online (naturally we also welcome anyone else who might benefit from the posts). Put simply, we are a school and we love to teach and educate. A blog gives us new ways of doing this!

Posts will include the latest news, reviews of mental health apps, books, social media accounts and other useful resources. As specialists in online mental health, we will be following developments in modern online culture which may affect client wellbeing. We will also help you cut through the red tape and understand the latest legal developments which may affect how you practice online.

It’s quite a broad array of topics, but it gives you some idea of what to look out for over the coming months and years.

If you have any suggestions or requests for topics to cover please let us know! Otherwise, welcome to the new website and we hope you enjoy it.
