Certificate in Self-Care – for Mental Health Professionals

We are pleased to announce that our latest course is currently in development. This free CPD will explore the importance of self-care in the mental health professions, how you can prioritise this and the tools available for completing your own self-care plan.

The course balances the academic and scientific research behind successful self-care with practical tips for working this into your daily routine. And because self-care is so important, we are providing this course for free.

As with all of our training, each of the modules is broken down into manageable sections, so you can pick up and leave the course to fit around your other commitments, whether home or work.

Who is it for?

This course is suitable for those who work in mental health. Our profession is broad but this includes counsellors, psychologists, therapists, social workers, nurses and other mental health workers. It is also suitable for students who are training to become qualified in this area.

How do I apply?

We are currently finalising this training course so you will have to wait a little longer yet. As soon as the course is live we will update this page and the SAMH blog page.
